I’ve loved real estate for as long as I can remember. When I was a little girl, my mom was a real estate agent in Guthrie. Around the same time, my dad started working for General Motors, and due to the nature of his job, we moved every few years. From the age of eight into adulthood, constantly moving, exploring new homes, and starting new adventures became my normal.
But I never saw moving as a burden. I saw it as a chance to discover new cities, make new friends, and find the next exciting chapter in life. One of my favorite things was walking into a house and immediately deciding where the Christmas tree would go (decorating the tree is still my favorite part of the holidays). If a house didn’t have a good “Christmas tree spot,” it didn’t make my list—though I don’t think my parents shared that same standard, LOL!
So naturally, I became a real estate agent as an adult, right? Nope—not even close.
After earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Wingate University in North Carolina, I spent a few years as a sports journalist and editor before finding myself in the world of public education in a small Oklahoma town. I taught high school English for 14 years, coached volleyball and theatre (even taking home a couple of state championships), and earned my Master’s in Education Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 2017.
But real estate never left my heart. I spent weekends touring open houses, became friends with every local Realtor®, considered working for a builder, even built my own home—I did everything except get my license. Finally, after completing grad school and feeling unsettled without a million things on m y plate, I had some time and thought, “What am I waiting for?” I decided to go for it.
And so, in 2018, admits the Oklahoma Teacher Walkout, my real estate career began.
I’ve been proudly serving the Oklahoma City metro ever since. I have a deep passion for new home construction because I truly believe everyone deserves a brand-new home at least once in their life. That said, I’m also totally gaga over the charm and character of a great historic home.
I found my place at LIME Realty because we do things differently here. We don’t do cookie-cutter real estate. Our mission is simple:
LOVE: We put people first. Always
INTEGRITY: We do what’s right, even when no one’s watching.
MARKETING: We market smarter - not louder
EXPERTISE: We out-prepare, out-research, and out-care our competition
I would love the chance to work with you and show you how we do things differently. Please reach out to me at anytime and let’s get to know each other.
Hope to see you soon.
